MSc Energy for Smart Cities is a cooperation between several universities. There are two routes to conduct this master programme:

*It is not allowed to stay at the same university in year 1 and year 2, so if you f.i. start at KU Leuven, you cannot study year 2 at KU Leuven.

Master’s Thesis

Broadening Programme

Each student has to choose min. 6 credits which contain one ‘Capita selecta engineering sciences (Athens or Summer Course)’ and 3 credits of free elective courses on master level. These include the possibility of (international) exchange components.

This choice allows to specialise more in the chosen energy option, or to broaden the point of view with additional courses from other option-clusters – especially the industrial traineeship and capita Selecta green cities II.1 – or by taking up courses out of the energy field.

These credits can also be filled in with courses from the adjustment programme, when this is necessary.
