To support your career ambitions KIC InnoEnergy organises several activities that will support your search for work within the whole of Europe according to your qualifications and interests. We encourage you to start preparing your career already from day 1 you enter a KIC InnoEnergy Master Programme or the PhD School.
Workshops and webinars
KIC InnoEnergy Career Centre organises various workshops like ‘how to find yóur way to change the game’ and ‘how to turn your study abroad experience into career success’. These workshops and webinars are meant for first and second year KIC InnoEnergy Master School students and for KIC InnoEnergy PhD students. You will be informed by e-mail about the whole programme.

A job interview is a next hurdle in the job hunting process and to nail that job continues to be a challenge.
In this one-on-one session you are given interview advice by a career coach to maximize your chances on success. We will discuss your presentation, your body language, tackle difficult interview questions, how to include your skills, how to present your (Game Changer) skills and your (KIC InnoEnergy) education to a prospective employer. and prepare you for the (skype) interview.
These interview trainings are meant for KIC InnoEnergy students who are (soon) applying for jobs or internships.

The Career Centre asked several experts from the industry to answer career questions which KIC InnoEnergy students might have. Off course the advisors are also great ambassadors of KIC InnoEnergy students and might be able to help you one step further in your seach for a job or internship. This is one of the unique opportunities to gain advantage of the KIC InnoEnergy network and community. Students will be informed by e-mail about possible time slots.

Personal Career Coaching
What are your strenghts and qualities? What do you like to do? Where do you want to start your career? Work for a big corporate utility? Or for a small or medium-sized company? A career in research and development? Start up your own business? There are several ways and places where you can make a difference. Toghether with a personal career coach you can find out what fits you best and where you will be able to create the biggest impact towards more sustainable energy. Are you the Game Changer that will cause disruption in the energy value chain?
During several moments per year our students will have the possibility to let their CV’s being checked by a professional. As many of you have an European or Global mindset, you will be aware of all the different habits and rules and regulations in the specific countries. Ask for specific tips and trucs for a particular country!
